Liveblogging lomborg part 13

p. 18 - it appears I missed quite a bit here.

Claim 1: Many major cities have already experienced temperature increases on a part with that which we will see by the end of the century.

Source: Two decades of urban climate research: a review of turbulence, exchanges of energy and water, and the urban heat island

Status of Claim: Odd.  It doesn't follow from the paper he cites, but there are a stack of other papers that do support this - here, and here and take a look what a google scholar search throws up.  So I'm not sure what to make of this; it could be that I'm misreading it, the reference is only lined to the section that says they exist, but that would mean that their magnitude is unreferenced.  Which is very odd, given that in his next reference, he lists a whole number of sources that, I'm willing to bet, will describe this magnitude accurately.  I'll go over them tomorrow.
