You're more likely to win a Nobel prize than get a bunch of scientists to take part in any sort of conspiracy, for the simple reason that this would be even worse than Journal Club. Nor, by the way, is it good form to gratuitously insult the integrity of scientists without good, hard evidence.
These elementary points are in no way destroyed just because of mendacious reactionaries like Al Gore.
Meanwhile at Cancun, they're banning "dihydrogen monoxide". Seriously.
