Hmmm

One of those controversies.  Apparently a scientific expedition to Paraguay, Bolivia and Argentinia may be in trouble because the researchers may come into contact with the local people who are a little ticked about a Brazilian company bulldozing their homes.  This line caught my eye:

Contact with isolated groups is invariably violent, sometimes fatal, and always disastrous 

I've known 'isolated groups' like that, in the nastier parts of Edinburgh and Cape Town.
